2024-27 Strategic Plan
On January 1, 2022, the Alberta College and Association of Opticians (ACAO) became the College of Opticians of Alberta (COA) with the sole mandate to protect the public through the effective regulation of the opticianry profession.
As part of its commitment to effective governance, the COA Council establishes a three-year strategic plan and reviews it on an annual basis.
The 2024-2027 COA Strategic Plan identifies the following strategic pillars to guide operations
