Changes to Standards of Practice – Bill 46
Bill 46 introduced by the Government of Alberta in December 2020 requires a number of changes to regulations and standards of practice.
The Registration and Competence Committee has prepared draft amendments to the College’s Standards of Practice for review by registered members prior to submission to Alberta Health.
Members are encouraged to review the changes outlined in the draft Standards and notify the College of any questions or feedback. While the changes to the Standards are mandatory as a result of Bill 46, member feedback is still very important to ensure the changes are captured clearly and correctly in the Standards.
